A Kannada movie called Krishnatulasi was released online in YouTube before its official release date. Surprisingly the video obtained ten lakh views in 2 days before it was taken down by YouTube. Due to this the theatre owners refused to screen the movie.

The producer of the movie had spent nearly Rs.50 lakhs to distribute the movie in theatres. Annoyed by its refusal to release by the theatre owners, the producer filed a complaint to the Cyber Crime police department.
